Elena S. Sinkovskaya, MD, Ph.D.

Dr. Sinkovskaya has been a Professor in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine since August, 2008. She earned doctorate from Russian State Medical University and subsequently did her residency in Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging at Bakulev’s Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, Moscow, Russia. She completed her fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Perinatal Center, University of Bonn, Germany. Dr. Sinkovskaya has a very unique background in both pediatric cardiology and fetal imaging. In this capacity, she has developed unique skills in this field and has trained many physicians and sonographers in fetal echocardiography. She has also led the department in many research programs.
