Elizabeth Hubbard, MD

Elizabeth Hubbard, MD, is joins Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences Eastern Virginia Medical School at Old Dominion University from Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she served as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Hospital Medicine Division for the last three years. 

Dr. Hubbard attended medical school at the University of Tennessee. She then completed a residency in Internal Medicine - Pediatrics at Duke University and subsequently a fellowship in Pediatric Hospital Medicine at Children's National Hospital. She has a strong interest in medical education and earned a master's in education from George Washington University. Her research has focused on physician team dynamics as well as in-hospital stroke. 

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Hubbard enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons.
